The BCU English Proficiency Test is used to assess your English language ability in the four skills of listening, reading, writing and speaking.  Each part of the test is designed to activate the language skills you will need to begin a course of study at Birmingham City University, and it will report on your current level in each skill.

Test registration closes 16 days before the date of the BCU EPT or when the BCU EPT is fully booked, whichever is first.

·         Please read the BCU EPT Test Rules and the BCU EPT Refund Policy before booking and taking your test. By booking and taking your test, you are agreeing to adhere to the BCU EPT Test Rules.   

 

·         All parts of your BCU EPT Online test are recorded and retained for internal staff training and quality purposes. By registering for the test, you give your consent to be recorded. If you do not wish for your recording to be retained and used for internal staff training purposes please advise us in writing that you wish to opt out by emailing us at [email protected] within 48 hours of completing your test.

·         Registration closes 16 days before  the date of the BCU EPT or when the BCU EPT is fully booked, whichever is first. 

·         Please book only one test at a time. You will need to wait for your test results to be issued before deciding if you need to book another test. 

 ·         It is strongly recommended that you take a maximum of three tests within a period of three months.

 ·         We aim to issue test results within/ 10 working days after your test.
